Replacing the Wheel on Your Airtex Suitcase: Step-by-Step Guide

What you'll need
- A new wheel compatible with your suitcase
- Matching screws
- A suitable screwdriver
Steps
Step 1: Identify the wheel type and get a replacement
Identify your suitcase model and contact our after-sales service to source a matching replacement wheel and screws.
Step 2: Prepare your workspace
Place your suitcase on a stable, clean surface where you can work comfortably. If possible, work on a surface that won't scratch or damage your suitcase.
Step 3: Open the suitcase
Open your suitcase and remove all contents so you can easily access the inside of the shell where the wheel is attached.
Step 4: Access the wheel compartment
Our suitcases have an interior lining that hides the wheel fixings. This lining is held by zips. Open it gently to reach the wheel area.
Step 5: Remove the damaged wheel
Use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the wheel. Take the wheel out of its housing.
Step 6: Install the new wheel
Position the new wheel and secure it with the matching screws. Make sure everything is tightened and that the wheel spins freely.
Step 7: Close the interior lining
Zip the lining back up.
Step 8: Test the new wheel
Close the suitcase and test the wheel by rolling it to check its function and stability.
A few extra tips
Keep all small parts in a container so nothing gets lost during the repair.
